New photos of Addy

I had Addison's Pictures taken a few weeks ago. I like to do them right before Halloween so I can have some taken in her costume(photos to be posted at a later date). But here are some of her cute ones. She was super sick that day and really grouchy, but I think that there are some really cute ones.

Her fathers child

Lots of people think that Addy looks a lot like me, but if they knew TJ's family they would see she looks exactly like them. So the one and only thing that Addison has inherited from me is my curly hair. I thought she would get my blue eyes, but no she has TJ's green. But if I had to pick one of my traits for her to have it would be my curly hair. Her hair is CRAZY curly. It curls all on its own. However she did inherit my baldness (I was Bald forever). Which means she didn't have much hair so she looked a little like Kramer for a while. I think it is growing in better and is really cute. I can't wait for it to get longer and more curly.

Just My Luck

Here it is, the story from start to finish. On Tuesday I was getting ready to get my temple recommend signed by the stake presidency, it's expired and I have a wedding to go to in a few days. I picked out my dress and was digging through my closet trying to find a pair of shoes, when I came across a pair that I haven't worn in about a year. They are really cute and I thought to myself as I was putting them on "Now Katie you have to be careful in these shoes, you're a little wobbly in them and you don't want to fall in front of the Stake Presidency. Maybe you shouldn't wear them." Well I didn't even make it that far. I tripped in them going down the garage stairs. There I was splayed out on the garage floor rocking back and forth in pain. "You're OK Katie just call your Dad on your Cell Phone, he will come out and help you get up." I searched through my purse for my phone but alas, I had left it on the counter plugged into the charger. I literally crawled back into the house, down the hall and into my parents room, and had my Dad take me to tanner clinic. Now here I sit in a boot with a broken 5th Metatarsal on my foot and my pretty shoes in the trash.
One week down and only 2 more to go. After that I have to have to go back in and he will check it again. So lesson learned, always listen to yourself, there might be dire consequences if you don't.

Funny Girl

Here are some funny photos of Addy. She is such a dweeb, whenever we try to take a picture she scrunches up her face and says "Cheese!"

She looks like Urkel in this picture.

I know, I know. I'm the worst blogger ever!

Sorry everyone, it probably seems that I fell off the planet. It's just been so busy. Let me give you the Brief 411 on everything thaqt happened during my absence. Kathy came to visit for Mother's Day and we spent all our time playing and doing fun stuff. We went to the Zoo and had so much fun. They really are trying to make it nice. Then TJ and I went to St. George for Memorial Day. We had a blast. It wasn't too hot and we really enjoyed spending time together and it was nice to have some time away for just us. There will be pictures and more blogging to come.

So proud of Myself

I'm so proud of myself. I know some people are really hesitant to talk about their weight, myself included, but I'm so proud that I just had to share. I've lost 20 lbs since the end of January. That's a little over a pound a week. For those of you who know the Weight Watchers system that's a pretty good rate to loose at. I love Weight Watchers, I know some people hate the idea for weighing in front of other people, but it's not that bad. Everyone is really nice and they have all been there. The girl who teaches our class is awesome, really funny and spunky.  I know that this may seem  really silly to blog about but I'm just so darn proud of myself.  I still have a LONG way to go, but I can't wait for the journey ahead. It's just a good feeling to know that I'm doing everything I can to be the healthiest person I can be.

WICKED

I'm so excited we are going to see Wicked tomorrow night and I can't wait.  My cousins are season ticket holders and about a year ago the season ticket holders were allowed to buy tickets to Wicked before everyone else. They could buy as many as they wanted, so my cousin bought all our tickets. We have literally had our tickets for a year and now its finally here.  YEAH!!!

Sorry I have been such a bad Blogger.
