Happy Birthday Addison!

Happy 3rd Birthday Addison

Sunday was Addison's Birthday and she had a blast. She has been so excited for her Birthday, she has been waiting all month long. Here are a few pictures from her party.

Loving her Granny

Hugging Grandpa Melvy

Cohen had his first ice cream cone the other day, he loved it. He wouldn't stop eating it and screamed when it was all gone. I thought the photos were funny. He's growing so fast and learning so quickly. He started crawling the other day, only a little bit, but it won't be long until he figures it out.

I love both my babies and am so excited to see them grow and learn. I am so proud of both of them.

Here we go again

So I feel that every few months I post something exactly like I'm doing now. I'm the worst blogger ever. We don't have the Internet at our house, so I don't get much time to blog. Then when something funny or interesting or funny happens to me I think "I should blog about that", but by the time I get to a computer I've totally forgotten what I wanted to blog about. Plus I don't have a camera, so when we do something fun, I have no way to document it, and nobody wants to read about the things I do when there are no fun pictures to share. This is why I am instituting operation, BUY KATIE A CAMERA FOR CHRISTMAS PLEASE. The entire aim of this operation is to drop subtle hints to TJ that I want a camera for Christmas. I'm sure if you know, but TJ is not very big on Gift giving, for anything. This was kind of a slight problem when we first got married, but after a while I decided that even if TJ didn't buy me a present, like say, for my birthday that doesn't mean I can't get one for myself. So for now I usually buy my presents and my birthday cake and all things gift related. However I don't really feel justified buying myself something as pricey as a camera. So back to the task at hand. The progress so far is not very promising. So I decided I had to pull out all the stops, I made him take me to RC Willeys so I could show him the one I wanted. Well that kinda blew up in my face, cause I showed him the one I really wanted and he gave me a look that said "Are you kidding me, you do realize that we have 2 mouths to feed. So now I just hoping that he will surprise me with any camera for Christmas. I'm not really holding my breath on this one.

However, in TJ's defense, he has surprised my with fairly large gifts for Christmas the past few years. Love you honey!

2 Months

Cohen is two months already, time goes by so fast. We took him into the doctor and he's doing great.

Height 22.5 inches
Weight 11.5 lbs

His head is going a little flat on one side, but can be corrected by making sure his head is facing the other way when he sleeps. I noticed right after we brought him home that he favored his right side, so I would wedge him on his left side but sure enough he would wiggle his way onto his right.

He also started to roll over the other day. He's such a smarty pants.

July 4th

SUPER QUICK POST. We hope everyone had a great 4th. We did. We didn't do much, mostly sat around. We had photos taken of Addy, Easton and Cohen. Addy didn't want to sit still, Cohen was on the verge of meltdown, and Easton took it all in stride and just chilled the whole time. For it being a super quick photo shoot I think the pictures turned out ok.

Not Much...

Well I bet you can guess how this is going to go... Not much going on with us. We are all settled in our new house and we love it there. Our new ward is great (lots of old people) but great. I walked into Relief Society our 1st day and thought "That's a lot of permed white hair."

Well little baby Gabriel or Cohen will be here on the 23rd unless he decides to make his appearance before then. Not the most likely thing to happen. We might have to nickname him Godzilla cause he is so huge already. 6 lbs 15 oz so far. I'm am literally praying that the Dr. is wrong, he said he probably was and the baby is most likely smaller. Cross your fingers.

That's about it with us, sorry its such a short post.

Bad Blogger

I'm the worst blogger ever. It's not that I haven't had time to blog it just doesn't cross my mind. Besides being a bad blogger there has been lots going on. I'll just have to start at the beginning and you'll have to bear with me. Things are going great as far as the pregnancy goes, he growing and it seems like I have forever left but its not really that long. Before you know it he'll be here. We are also having a hard time picking a name. Its down to two, please leave a comment and tell me which one you like best. I don't really care if you don't like either (it won't hurt my feelings) but I would like to know which one everyone likes best. Here they are..

Gabriel Noah
(we will call him Gabe)
OR
Cohen Hinckley
I Love them both and TJ likes them both so we are stuck. Everyday I ask Addy "What should we name your little brother? Gabe or Cohen?" Her answer changes all the time. Its never predictable. When I think she is going to say the name she's been saying for days, she changes her mind. I might just have to ask her the day he is born and if I hesitate with what she says then I'll know its supposed to be the other one.
Addy got her 1st cousin on my side of our family. Easton Andrew or Baby Eeesin as Addy says was born February 22nd. Its kinda neat to see her interact with him it makes me hope that she will be just as excited about her little brother. It hard to tell for sure cause we've haven't met Easton in the flesh, just via skype. But she loves to see him over the computer. The other day she played hide and seek with him. It was pretty funny. He also had a meltdown the other day and her face was hysterical, she couldn't decide what to think of all of his crying. It might be hard for a while but I know she'll catch on to the big sister thing.
And last but not least we bought a house. Its in Kaysville. We are really excited, we'll only be about 6 houses away from Christy. Its really nice, not brand new but only a few years old. Once we close this week I'll get some pictures to post. I'm a little nervous for Addison. She Loves living with her Nana and Poppy and I'm pretty sure she'll be lonesome for a while. I guess That means we will have to visit a lot.
TJ will be graduating with his Associates in the next few weeks. I'm so proud of him. he has pushed through and got it done in half the time it usually takes. Its been hard cause he's been loaded up with credit hours but it's almost done. As soon as he gets his associates he start in the Education program at Weber and hopefully that won't take very long. We'll see.
Well more news to follow. And please leave your comments about the name, I'm so undecided and your input will probably be the deciding factor.
